Quran is a book with inimitable apparent beauty and meaning depth. Therefore each translator tries to receive meanings and beauties of Quran and transfer them through his own language to the audience. This article scrutinizes the amount of success of three English translations of Quran by Arberry, Shaker, and Qaraei in Surah al-Ra'd, from the aspect of vocabulary and structure and exposes the comparison between verses 2, 4 and 16 for instance. The results of this case comparison show that Arberry with adherence to the appearance of the words of the main text attempts to transfer the literary connotation, Archaic and concise language of Quran in his translation. But this source integration besides reducing his translation’s communicative ability makes him to judge only on the basis of the appearance of the words, without considering the inner meanings and evolutions of vocabularies. And such adjudication leads to the manipulation in the reality of Allah’s Word. In contrast, Shaker, with tendency towards the reader, prefers transmission of the meaning to the adherence to the appearance of the words of the main text. This inward-oriented approach, sometimes leads to lack of correspondence in translation. In the meantime, Qaraei in addition to adherence to the source text, in a phrase to phrase translation, offers the meaning in an up to date and easy language with the least rate of difference from the main text.

The numerous apparently different verses in Qur'an about some subjects, such as guidance and deviation on the one hand, and those verses implying the divine will and providence and his sovereignty on the creation order on the other hand, has led to some differences in interpreters’ opinions about verses related to guidance and deviation, such that Fakhr Razi has considered guidance and deviation as a fatalistic matter by reference to the generality of divine will and providence, while, Allameh Tabatabaii has considered these verses as indicative and confirmative of humans’ free will, although he believed in the generality of divine will and providence too. This article is a comparative research about the related verses interpreted by two mentioned interpreters by reference to altafsir al-Kabir and al-Mizan exegesis, in order to clarify the differences and perhaps similarities of their interpretative opinions.

The comparative study of thinkers` ideas in every field of science is one of the factors that opens scientific windows to posterity, and interpretation is not an exception to rule. With these comparisons the interpreters on each other and also the transition of Quranic subjects are revealed. Therefore, the authors of this writing have aimed to study the mutual effects of these two interpreters, Tabari and Ibn kathir, two great Sunni historians and experts on exegesis, and compare the transition and broadness of these interpretations in two different periods of time. Thus, Tabari's Jame -al-Bayan and Ibn Kathir's Tafsir al-Quran al-Azim have been studied in respect of methodology and its interpreters attitudes have been analyzed and the studied under these five entry titels, Ahkam, Akhlagiat (morality), thoughts, verses on velayat, and Israiliyyat. We know both of these commentators are agreement and disagreement in their interpretations.

Yusuf’s story has such a spirit that one can interpret it in various ways. The current study aims at linguistically investigating the narrative style of Hazrat Yusuf’s story in the Holy Quran, using descriptive-analytic method and taking advantage of Simpson’s model. The study results indicate that the narrative style follows the B category of narrative styles, which expresses the thoughts, beliefs, and feelings of the first character of the story. In this story, free quoting is used to express the characters’ states and beliefs. Based upon the second principle of Simpson’s categorization, the dominant text’s mood is positive, which shows the interpreter’s confident views on the truth of God and his mystic helps to true pious people. The linguistic devices, in this regard, are: imperative verbs, generalizing sentences, belief-expressing sentences, evaluative adverbs and adjectives, sensational words, reporting adverbs, which report thoughts, understanding, and reactions, and sorrow, fear, discontent and gripe words, showing fear and sorrow and confirming the positive mood of the story. The dominant concepts in this narration are: cruel people’s failure to achieve prosperity, God’s loyalty to helping true pious individuals, not getting hopeless of God kindness, and so on and so forth. However, in some cases, negative mood is used to show the characters’ doubts and skepticisms to each other, and more importantly, to show the happenings of misconceptions and individuals’ evaluations of each other.

Muhammad Ezzat Darvazah is founder of contemporary commentators who interprets the Quran according to their chronology of revelation. Understanding the meaning and purpose of his verses in the light of context verses may only know. The first of these are detailed in the introduction to his commentary on the significance of spoken manner and then place his work in contextual interpretation of the verses of the Holy Quran is in service. This research is descriptive and analytical method and studies functions in the context of two major axes: 1. functions of context in the role on inter-text indications, 2. functions of context in relation to the outer-text indications are analyzed. He has sometimes been able to achieve its goal, sometimes in the context of suffering and crashed artificially and for reasons such as religious fanaticism etc., has been unable to exploit the merits of the verses of the Quran.

One of the interesting theoretical topics in Philology (study of words) is attention to "Homonymy". A glance into the linguistic heritage of Muslims clears that many of philologers have remarked this problem and developed its theoretical topics. Nevertheless, sometimes in experiment, homonymy has been neglected and some philologers, when analyzing the polysemy of two words without common origin, have gone to connecting between all meanings of these words or, considered them as "Opposites"; An approach that has brought many slips and led to many difficulties. A case of this, is the frequent root "QSṬ", reflected in the Holy Quran by two forms: If'āl template "aqsaṭa" and infinitive "al-Qisṭ" and also noun form "al-Qāsiṭ", with two different meanings. Sometimes the word "Qisṭās" is considered from this root too, and the frequency of the three is 29. Many of philologers, having the idea that the preceding words have been formed from a common root, have searched a kind of relation between them. This writing, by using methods "Etymology" and "Diachronic Semantics" in Historical Linguistics, attempts to demonstrate firstly, the borrowing of "Qisṭās" and "al-Qisṭ" according to a well-known Ta'rib pattern; Then, by a comparative study of the word "al-Qāsiṭ" and its cognates in other Semitic languages, suggests a more detailed meaning for this word. Finally, we achieved to the result that these preceding words have three distinctive origins and the contact of the three is a kind of Homonymy.

When exegesis of the Quran has formed by non – innocent mankind, like all forms of human phenomena may has mistaken; so its criticism is necessary to progress of it for elimination of faults and its improvement and helping. Usage of history in all of Quranic interpretations -that was written to today- has serious faults. These faults include unreal reports; furthermore can have a direct effect on the departure of Muslim ideas; because interpretations of the Quran considered as resources of the knowledge by general public. Accordingly it is very important to offer a way to purge the data. the first step in this direction -that provide the possibility of evaluation of large numbers of historical data- is offering the Criteria to separate correct data from false data.
so this article intend -with offering the methodological orientations- to find a solution to the cognition and separation correct historical reports from false.
